Basic Commission Procedure: E-mail or note us, tell us what you have in mind, in detail. Include your ideas about the material you want, and if you have concept sketches, please share them. We'll respond with what we can actually do and possibly some alternate designs or sketches. After we come to an agreement about the design, we'll give you a quote and talk about shipping options, and how long the work will take to complete. At that point, you can choose to have us send you an itemized invoice and pay via Paypal, or you can mail us a money order. All commissions must be paid in full before work starts. There are no exceptions to this. It's not personal. Not even our families get to pay after work has started. If we make something for you, we are not going to want to sell it to someone else if you change your mind. If the design doesn't work or something about it has to be changed after work starts, we'll contact you, with photos if appropriate. As soon as the item is finished, we'll use the shipping method that was agreed upon, and it will be headed your way. If we get sick or injured, it may delay your order. If possible, we will contact you as soon as we realize that there is a delay. If we have a stomach bug that is keeping us confined to the bathroom (or the hospital), we can't email you until we're well enough to sit down and type, so please be patient if you don't get an immediate response to inquiry. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Payment is by either Paypal or Money Order. We will send you a Paypal invoice so that you have an itemized receipt. Money Orders lost in the mail are not our responsibility. We suggest that you mail all money orders via certified mail. Money Orders will be cashed before work starts and confirmation of the order being paid is sent. For international shipping, please send us an address via note or e-mail to get an accurate quote. For shipping inside the US our standard shipping method is Priority Mail, at a flat fee of $7 for items under one pound + 75 cents per additional item shipped. Other shipping methods can be used on request. Please send an address for accurate shipping quote on alternate shipping methods. Insurance is available on request for an additional fee. If your item is lost in transit, we will be happy to make another for the same price as the first, but we are not responsible for items as soon as they leave our location. If the world was fair, all shipping companies would be able to get every single package delivered without losing it. The world isn't fair, and we aren't responsible for that either.
