Carved from white Corian and imbedded with five Hematite spheres, this sculptural meditation focus has a piece of green ribbon connecting it to a length of handcrafted chain. On the back of the Focus, spiral carvings dance in a moon shaped inset. The pebbled texture invites you to run your fingers over this carvings curves and discover it's mobius-like complexity. It's not exactly a standard Mobius loop, though it is based on one. Hard to show in photos, but really awesome in person.
The chain alternates silver square spiral connectors with small bicone shaped hematite beads, three large Flourite beads in a mix of greens, blues and purple, and two tumbled Flourite beads in purple. It is tipped with a pointed Quartz crystal, which could easily be used as a pendulum while holding the Focus itself in your hand.
The ribbon has just enough slack to allow removal of the chain, if you wish to use or wear the Focus some other way, and can be used to hang up the chain by itself. Where the ribbon is knotted onto the chain's loop a small bit of glue has been added for security. Removing it from the chain is not advised.

No, I'm not dead. Just putting most of my effort into commissions that I can't show you yet. This was done to give my brain a break from the commissions. Don't worry, the commissions are EPIC and will be shared as soon as they are complete.
Oh, Alice (my mom!) knows... She's just trying to get me to come up with a good explanation. This isn't the best wording, but here's a start: As I mention in the description, it's a meditation focus. Sorta like the way some religions use chains of beads to keep track of a number of prayers, or others use images to guide meditation or prayer. The idea here is that if you have something to focus on it is easier to meditate, and spirals are used by many faiths and philosophies for meditation and contemplation. With it's mobius-like single surface, you can run your fingers over it endlessly, so it's very easy to use it to clear your mind. In addition, pendulums are used in both meditation and divination, so the chain has an extra use. (Do ask questions if that didn't clear it up completely!)
Glad ya like it! hehe, I notice most of my watchers don't seem to know what to say about this one. Lots of favs, but surprisingly few comments. I honestly expected a few "what the heck is it for?" questions, but nope!
Thanks! And no, I totally understand, and appreciate the compliment as intended.
I do accept payment plans, though they have to either be via money order or paypal with a slight upcharge to cover my increased fees from multiple transactions, and anything paid in would be non-refundable if canceled. So you could pay for something like this $10 to $20 at a time, and it would ship when the last payment arrived. Yes, I'm broke as hell too, and really do understand not being able to afford nice stuff when I want it.
Note me if you want to set that up for this particular piece or something else I have available. I can also do that for commissions, where I start work when the last payment is made.

(I know that some artists hate hearing this but I swear I mean no offense: if I had the resources I would totally buy this from you
